I am passionate about scientific communication as an essential component to conveying the significance of even the most novel research. I use my scientific background to understand the significance of innovations and assist clients in obtaining grant funding to further their research and career goals. I leverage my postdoctoral training and biotechnology industry experience to write accurate technical research plans and compelling descriptions of their scientific and/or market impact. My services range from grant editing, to writing supporting
documentation, to full grant concept development and writing. I specialize in preclinical research in biology and biotechnology, with particular strengths in nutrition and metabolism. I grew up on a dairy farm, so I also love working in the area of agricultural innovation. I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Guelph in aging research, then studied mitochondrial bioenergetics during my postdoc at Pennington Biomedical Research Center, before serving as CEO at Talaria Antibodies.
